Photographer Rodolphe Baras, a French native, arrived in Washington, D.C. in the late eighties amidst an already thriving music scene. Baras immediately embraced the rock n' roll culture and began photographing musicians for the European Press. After relocating to New York City in the early nineties to attend the International Center of Photography, he also immersed himself into the world of
fashion photography.
Rodolphe Baras' talent has crossed over to the world of Fashion and Music photography, developing creative concepts, directing scenery, and collaborating with models and teams of experts. Rodolphe Baras' innovative stories and artistic images have riveted readers and audiences alike as features in Rolling Stone, Dazed and Confused, Marie Claire, Jalouse, XXL, NME, Black Book, Vibe and Spin.
